Gallery

The Humboldt & District Gallery is a gem in the heart of the city. Featuring about 6 art installations each year, the Gallery is a beautiful location for art classes, cultural programming, live music, and rentals.  Built in 1920 as the Merchants Bank of Canada, this historical building became a contemporary and versatile Art Gallery in 2014. Open all year.

Museum

The Humboldt & District Museum is Humboldt’s most iconic building. Built in 1912 as a Post Office, this singular element of Humboldt’s streetscape has had many lives. It serves the community today as a regional history museum. Explore our community’s history, an array of changing exhibitions, as well as fun and interactive crafts, challenges, and activities for all ages! Open all year.

Original Humboldt

located 8km west on highway 5 and 3km south on Telegraph Rd is the historical site, Original Humboldt. Stroll on manicured walking trails while you learn more about this land that was a nexus for historical events that shaped our region and our province. Original Humboldt has also been an active archaeological site for many years and has contributed to our knowledge of early Saskatchewan history.

Outdoor Activities

The City has numerous sports fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, a spray park, skateboard park, disc golf course, mini golf course, and walking trails to enjoy. Click HERE for more information. 

Sight Seeing

The City of Humboldt has an extensive and unique public art collection that spans downtown and beyond. Take a stroll around Humboldt and discover the hidden gems of public art that adorn our city!

Water Tower

As instrumental to the development of our city as it is a unique place to visit, Humboldt’s Historical Water Tower is truly a sight to behold. Walk up a 144-step spiral staircase inside a standpipe reservoir water tower and emerge to the best view in town! Open Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 1:30pm to 4pm in July and August, or by appointment.
