Sunday, April 7, 2024, has been proclaimed as “Green Shirt Day” in the City of Humboldt, in honor of and in recognition of the “Logan Boulet Effect”, a legacy initiated by Logan Boulet, one of the 2017-18 Humboldt Broncos players who succumbed to his injuries 6 years ago on April 7th, 2018. His selfless act of organ donation inspired over 100,000 Canadians to become organ donors in the days and weeks that followed.
