Mayor Proclaims March 6, 2021 as “Lymphedema Awareness Day”

At last night’s City Council meeting, Mayor Behiel proclaimed March 6, 2021 as “Lymphedema Awareness Day” in the City of Humboldt.

Lymphedema is an accumulation of lymphatic fluid that causes swelling in the limbs or other areas of the body. Patients suffering from lymphedema often experience physical discomfort, disfigurement, and stress while coping with these symptoms.
