At the Regular Meeting of Council held on Monday, January 25, 2021, City Council approved the next step of implementing the improvements to the proposed “Health and Safety Management System” (“HSMS”) developed by Harness Safety Group, a recognized safety consulting company.
Following a thorough audit conducted by Harness Safety Group and City of Humboldt Administration, an updated HSMS has been prepared. The system includes a custom safety program that will provide best practices that meet current OH&S safety regulations, applicable record keeping, as well as training and resources to employees and contractors.
