In response to the Provincial Government’s announcement on Monday, December 14, 2020, extending Public Health Orders to minimize the risk of transmittal of the COVID-19 virus, the City of Humboldt will be taking measures to address the reality of reduced usage of some of the indoor recreation facilities.
The following actions are being implemented at the Uniplex:
- Effective Thursday, December 24, 2020, at 5:00 pm:
- The Aquatics Centre will be temporarily closed;
- Effective January 1, 2021:
- The Uniplex Fitness Centre hours will be reduced to 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday;
- Uniplex Administration hours will be reduced to 6:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
All measures outlined above are expected to remain in effect until January 31st, 2021.
The City of Humboldt is continuing to review how outdoor activities, such as the outdoor rinks and the Crokicurl ice surface, can be enjoyed by the public in a safe and compliant fashion.
City Council and administration encourages you to protect yourself and your family. Please take necessary precautionary measures when you leave your home and are in contact with the public.
