Mayor Rob Muench

Mayor Muench has proclaimed the week of September 21-27, 2020 as “Rail Safety Week” in the City of Humboldt.

September 21st to the 27th, is Rail Safety week across Canada. Recognized nationally, local governments, police services and the rail industry work together to raise awareness, save lives, and prevent injuries.

As an initiative to help bring railway safety awareness to our community, CN Rail and Operation Life Saver are getting the message out there with their “Look. Listen. Live.” campaign. For your safety, they have put these important messages on the sidewalks at the railway crossing on Main Street between 4th and 5th Avenue.
