Supporting Our Local Businesses: City of Humboldt Business Directory

Posted: April 15, 2020

The City of Humboldt is committed to helping our community during this difficult time.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken our online Business Directory, https://humboldt.ca/business-directory, one step further by adding additional information specific to businesses listed in this directory that will let people know how they can continue to do business during this crisis, whether it be in person, online, by email or by phone.

How it works:

When you go to https://humboldt.ca/business-directory, you will see 2 main categories to select from: “Doing Business by Other Means (Closed to the Public)”  and “Open to the Public With Physical Distancing/Restrictions”. Simply click on one or the other, and you will see a sorted list of businesses based on how they are currently doing business. You can then click on “view” next to a business name and see more details on how to do business with them, including a phone number, email address, with direct links to their website or social media accounts for more information, if they’ve been provided.

If you are a business owner, and If you haven’t already done so, please go to www.humboldt.ca/business-directory-update and complete the short online form that will provide us with your current status and how you are currently doing business.

If your business was one of the mandatory closures, or if you’ve temporarily closed your business, we would also like to confirm that so that in the future, when you reopen your doors, we will do another update letting people know you’re back in business.

Our intent is to have one consistent and reliable business listing, so it’s very important that we hear from you.

Please Note: The Business Directory is updated only after we have received confirmed information from each business so please refer to it frequently.
