NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Humboldt intends to adopt a bylaw pursuant to Section 199 of The Planning and Development Act, 2007 for the sale of dedicated land.

INTENT
The proposed bylaw will allow the City to move the market value of a portion of Parcel MR1 Plan 64H05159, as attached, into a Dedicated Lands account.

AFFECTED LAND
Parcel MR1 Plan 64H05159

REASON
The land is being sold to allow for a multi-unit (apartment or condominium) dwelling. The land is in close proximity to the downtown core with park space to the east and south.

PUBLIC INSPECTION
Any person may inspect the bylaw at the municipal office at 715 Main Street between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays. Copies are available upon request.

PUBLIC HEARING
Council for the City of Humboldt will be reading the bylaw for a second time at the Regular Council Meeting held April 28, 2025. If you have questions or wish to comment on the bylaw (or appear before Council on this matter), this can be done by:

1) Contacting the Interim City Clerk – Email: cityclerk@humboldt.ca or call (306) 682-2525. Correspondence must be received prior to noon on April 24, 2025.

2) Regular Mail – Addressed to Jace Porten, Interim City Clerk, P.O. Box 640, Humboldt, SK S0K 2A0. Correspondence must be received prior to noon on April 24, 2025.

3) Public Hearing – Held at the Regular Meeting of Council on April 28, 2025, at 5:30 pm in City Hall Council Chambers located at 715 Main Street.
