Humboldt & District Emergency Management Organization (EMO)
The Humboldt and District Emergency Management Organization works with emergency services and other agencies to ensure Humboldt is ready to respond in the event of a major emergency or disaster.
Should an emergency situation arise in our city, be it severe weather, a dangerous goods spill, a pandemic, a range of agencies must pull together to provide a coordinated response.
While all level of governments work hard to keep Canada safe, all individuals have a role to play in being prepared for an emergency; being prepared means having the knowledge and equipment necessary to better cope during an emergency. There are many ways to “Be Emergency Ready,” including having a having a 72-hour emergency kit.
It’s very important that businesses and households develop their own emergency plans.
