Bryce Fiske

November 6, 1997
Hometown: La Ronge, SK
#14
Position: Defence

Bryce’s passion for hockey began even before he could pronounce the word itself. His interest in mini stick games was obvious; every time a new visitor came into our home he insisted that they play at least one game.

Bryce was 18 months when he skated for the first time. He wore out his first pair of hockey gloves before the age of three. He had the ability of reciting the names and numbers of his favourite home town hockey team at very young age. One of his first few words was actually the word hockey itself.

Bryce began his hockey career at the age of four, with La Ronge Minor Hockey.  He began as a forward and played that position until his spring hockey coach suggested that he would excel as a defensemen. The following season he joined the Melfort Peewee AA team and continued playing on the back end. He played his Bantam eligible years with the Melfort AA Wolfpack.

Bryces dream of playing for his home town hockey team, the LaRonge Ice Wolves, became a reality when he was sixteen years old. Having the opportunity to be a part of the La Ronge franchise for three seasons expanded Bryce’s talents as a hockey player, and allowed him the privilege of playing in front of his family and friends every time he stepped on home ice.

In October of 2017, Bryce was traded to Humboldt in hopes of having an opportunity of winning the Canalta cup before his junior career came to an end. He loved his new Humboldt team and coaches and was welcomed with open arms.

Bryce could not be more thankful to have been a part of such an close-knit, incredible family.
