Elected as Councillor in 2020

Roger grew up in the neighboring community of Muenster. Roger first lived in Humboldt from 1991 to 2000 and moved back to Humboldt in 2014.

Roger has been a Journeyman Autobody Technician for over 30 years, 29 of which have been spent working in Humboldt.  He recently achieved “Platinum Status” in his trade through ongoing training and education.

In his spare time, Roger enjoys watching a variety of sports. He is also active with curling in the winter and golfing in the summer. He is an avid hunter and in recent years found a new passion for smoking and curing meats as well as making sausage for family and friends to enjoy.

Roger is passionate about his commitment to community involvement. He has volunteered with the Humboldt Broncos, Muenster Elks, and the Humboldt JCIs. He was a longtime member of the Muenster Hall Board and continues to sing with the St. Peter’s Parish choir.

This is Roger’s first term as a City Councillor.
