Kelly Herperger moved to Humboldt in 1969 where she started Grade one at St. Dominic school and graduated in 1981 from Humboldt Collegiate Institute (HCI). During her High school years, she was involved in youth politics and was Senior Pin (female president) at HCI. She completed her first-year university at St. Peters College, while working for the Town of Humboldt as an assistant to town inspector. In 1984, she moved to Saskatoon when she accepted a position with the Royal Bank. During her 10 years with RBC, she relocated to Estevan, Regina, North Battleford, then back to Estevan where her son was born. In 1993 she returned to school to complete her post-secondary education and earned her Certified Management Accountant designation in 1998 (now known as Chartered Professional Accountant).

Kelly and her family moved back to Humboldt in 1995 when Kelly and her father went into business together and built a prosperous accounting firm in public practice which has been operating for over 25 years.

Kelly has been involved with many volunteer organizations and groups in Humboldt, including:

Humboldt Downtowners Association
Futuristic Industries
Various Condo Associations
Toast Masters

Kelly enjoys the outdoors, downhill skiing, skating, hockey, golf, kayaking, traveling, animals, knitting to name a few. She also enjoys most challenges.
