Amanda Klitch

Councillor

In Office:
Elected as Councillor in 2020

Amanda Klitch was born and raised in Humboldt. She briefly lived in Prince Albert and later in Saskatoon to attend MC College where she received her Cosmetology designation. Following graduation, she moved herself and her daughter back to Humboldt, a place she knew would be the best place to raise her and be close to family.

Amanda has worked at Elite Salon & Spa as a Journeyman Hairstylist, Aesthetician, and Make Up Artist since 2005. In the last few years, she has been involved with developing a personalized apprenticeship/mentor program for new employees fresh out of school focusing on acquiring additional knowledge and technical skills so that they can succeed in the cosmetology industry.

Amanda volunteered with JCI Humboldt (Jaycees) from 2009-2019, helping organize the annual JCI Cabaret and Demolition Derby, as well as help volunteer selling Christmas trees and many other projects. She was a member of OnStage Dance Festival for three years and is currently involved with Partner Family Services as a Board Member.

Amanda is very excited to serve as a Councillor in her hometown and promises to carry out her duties to the best of her ability.

A favorite quote of Amanda’s is: “Act as if what you do makes a difference. IT DOES.” William James
