At the last Regular Meeting of Council, Mayor Behiel declared the month of June 2024 as Recreation and Parks Month in the City of Humboldt.
Recreation contributes to the social well-being of our community by instilling a sense of pride, strengthens volunteerism and community development, and promotes inclusion. Our parks, open spaces and trails ensure ecological sustainability, provide spaces to enjoy nature, help maintain clean air and water and preserve plant and animal life.
