COVID-19

The health and safety of our community is our top focus. This page relays information from City Council and Administration relating to the COVID-19 pandemic and our response. City Council and Administration are putting you, our citizens, in the forefront of our decisions in response to this pandemic.

Effective 12:01 am on Monday, February 28, 2022, the Province and the Saskatchewan Health Authority have lifted all public health orders.

In summary:

Masking:

  • Mandatory Masking is no longer in effect.
  • Public Health still strongly recommends immediate self-isolation for anyone who tests positive for COVID-19.
  • Businesses, workplaces and event organizers may request that patrons/visitors/staff/students continue to mask.

Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test:

The public health order requiring proof of vaccination or a negative test for public access into specific places expired on February 14, 2022. Businesses, workplaces and event organizers may choose to continue requiring proof of vaccination or negative testing even without the public health order.

It is important that everyone is kind and respectful of individuals’ choices.

The City of Humboldt will continue to follow Provincial Guidelines and Public Health Orders.
