A municipal partner with WorkSafe Saskatchewan, the City of Humboldt is committed to Mission: Zero - a campaign to reduce workplace injuries and their impacts.

The City's internal Occupational Health & Safety program also focuses on issues such as hazard assessment and controls, regular workplace audits and safe work practices, ensuring any workplace safety issues are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner.

 

 

Safe Communities Humboldt & Area (Part of the Parachute Network)

The City of Humboldt has been a proud member of Safe Communities Canada-Parachute Network since 2005.  This program is dedicated to injury prevention awareness through community-based programs and education.

Priorities include pedestrian safety, youth safety, rail safety awareness, farm safety, bicycle and skateboard safety, child and infant car sear safety, falls prevention, newcomers safety, positive ticketing, suicide prevention and distracted driving impact awareness.
