Public Notice is hereby given that the City of Humboldt, pursuant to Section 207 of the Planning and Development Act, 2007, intends to consider adopting a bylaw to amend Bylaw No. 04/2016 known as the Zoning Bylaw.


1.    That  the Zoning District Map referred to in Section 11 of Bylaw No. 04/2016 be     amended in the following matter:

a)    By rezoning Parcels H and GG; Plan No. 102244328 in the NW ¼ 20 37-22-W2M from C3 – Commercial/Industrial Mixed Use District to C2 – Medium Density Commercial District as shown on the drawing below. 

The reason for this proposed amendment is to mitigate land use conflicts between the neighboring residential units and future uses of these lands and ensure future development is compatible with existing neighboring uses.




This Bylaw may be inspected by interested persons at the City Hall on any judicial day between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and is available on the City’s website at
Persons wanting a copy of the bylaw may obtain one free of charge.

Council will be holding a public meeting on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers to receive comments on this Bylaw.  Interested persons or groups may appear before Council to make representation on the amendment at that time.
