Located in the heart of Saskatchewan, the Humboldt area is a magnet for regional, provincial and national events. With experience hosting major sporting events such as the RBC Cup and Saskatchewan Scotties Tournament of Hearts along with numerous provincial conferences, fairs, weddings, trade shows, training seminars, concerts and more, event staff and the larger community are able to provide the levels of support needed to make such events successful.
Venues & Meeting Space
The Humboldt Convention Centre, linked to the Humboldt Uniplex, is the largest and best equipped event facility in Humboldt.
The Convention Centre includes a large hall and five meeting room spaces of various sizes. With over 10,000 square feet of flexible, usable space, staff work with you to ensure your event is booked, planned and supported to ensure a hassle-free and rewarding experience. Event support may include set-up, lighting, beverage, audio-visual, flip chart or other related services.
Understanding Your Needs
In order to assist you in hosting an event, be prepared to provide as many details as possible, including:
- Is the event a private or public function?
- How many people are expected to attend?
- What kind of set-up do you require?
- Will refreshment/food services be needed?
- Do you need access to the facility to prepare?
- Do you need additional services/personnel?
If you need special access to facilities before or after your event, staff need to know in advance. There are also different services or personnel that may be required to assist with your event such as catering/food services, security personnel, maintenance personnel or specialized electrical/mechanical support. These details need to be discussed and planned for in advance of your event.
